HELLO!

My name is Eilidh Elizabeth Molly McGrath and I have Cerebral Palsy which means that I communicate nonverbally. Despite my disability. I managed to go from absolute German beginner to award-winning German degree student in the space of 3 years!

I have written this blog to illustrate that a disability doesn’t need to stop you from achieving your dreams and also to show how important it is to be plurilingual in the modern world. A common excuse that I have heard from a number of people is that they don’t have the skills to learn another language. I hope that this blog deals with the anxiety that can come with being faced with a new language and inspires people of all abilities to start their own language learning journey.
